Hello! I am Melinda Matthews, the owner of MelindaSunshineArt. I do everything for the MelindaSunshineArt business. At MelindaSunshineArt, I sell customized portraits from photos. Each piece is original and completely handmade. I am responsible for each step in the process: advertising, customer service, drawing/design, packaging, and sending the piece to you!
I believe in giving my best in everything that I do. Each person is immensely important, and I wish to reflect that value in the art I create. Photographs are more than a piece of paper in a book or on a wall. They are captured moments that recall to the viewer a cherished place, time, feeling, or person. I wish to remind people of that with the customized pictures I create.
As an artist, I have done substantial research on art, and how to create it. In this world, there is an abundance of beauty and expertise in many artists. Along with talent and beauty, however, sometimes there is the ugly side; the side that has no respect for God. It is obvious that an artist must have great knowledge of anatomy, however, one should have the decency not to draw inappropriate pictures. I wish to bring skilful, beautiful, and clean art into this world. I also wish to offer truthful tutorials that reveal how to overcome struggles as a beginner. As an artist and an owner of a business, I am still learning. I want to grow in both skills and share what I know and learn with others so they can grow as well.

Of Your Picture
Each drawing requires planning, focus, and time. Whenever I am drawing an item, I consider the time it takes for me to finish it, as well as its affordability. Quality art can be quite expensive. However, I do not want to waste your money or my time, thus I do my best to sell my art at reasonable prices.
A picture with excellent quality is held as a standard for all drawings I create. I make sure to use quality materials. As I mentioned before, drawing requires planning and attention. For each drawing, I plan specific steps for me to take so that I can create your perfect picture. Through each step, I pay attention to every detail as I draw your beautiful picture.
Creating your pictures to closely resemble the person (or subject) I am drawing is another aspect of quality I hold as a standard. Purchasing and creating a picture of someone that does not look like the individual is a waste. Therefore I do everything I can to ensure the picture is accurate to the subject. Because I send the original for each customized item, the items are individual to the buyer and are not replicated*.
Each picture I create has affordability, individuality, and quality. I do everything I can to create your perfect picture.
